Another grand northern light house in a unique style. The actual light tower is wroght of iron and ensconced atop a fine stone building. It is set on a large lot near a high cliff overlooking Long Island Sound. I wonder how many boats and ships were guided by its powerful light... can you hear the lapping water, creaking wood and snap of sails? I can imagine how cozy it must be to hold a cup of coffee and lookout toward the rolling waters, when the weather turns gray and wet.
