Now this is a unique melding cultures. It wsa a commissioned piece used for the poster for Jazz by the Boulevard... a totally fun jazz festival in the old Cow Town of Fort Worth Texas. At that festival I wsa able to introduce my son to jazz bassest, Walter Payton, of New Orleans. It turned out that his sone is named Nicholas as is my son and both played trumpet... small, fun world.
