This was a field of flowers on a frinds ranch that just had to be painted. The young lady is my daughter who loves our natural treasures. The bits of gold are coreopsis... in the back is a mix of rugged oak trees. Also it was a ball to paint that house... it brings backs fond memories of traveling to Oklahoma as a child. My grandmother, born in 1891, would comment on the passing scenery.
